1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Little Miss Pig Pants (4PICS) on: September 19, 2007 06:32:25 PM
Hello!

After seeing MissMelissa138's octopus, and Cerya's 'cute blue thing'  I had to try out Amirigumi for myself!

so..... my first shot, Little Miss PigPants was created!

and of course... the bum!(piggy tail included)

I used the basic pattern idea that missmelissa138 (thankyou, thankyou!) put up, but I altered it a little bit,
and put the smaller rounds in place for feet, and made the snout out of the same pattern, but with a smaller hook.
Her front feet are together, and her back ones are spread apart, giving her a nice lil' stance,
which I think adds to the cute factor... heehee

she is a present for a friend I'm having dinner with  next week... hope she likes it, hope you like it!  Wink

after seeing some SUPER cool posts involving perler beads and video games,  I HAD to do it too!

and this is what happened!  not all of them are great, but as I did more I learned not to over melt them

Toad (old school style)

a Boo

and finally this, which I super love, my 5 year old nephew really LOVED the first ones I made,
so for his birthday I let him pic a character,
and I decided to give it a more 3-d look!

3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / No one is safe from.... DOMO-SQUID!!! (first post!) on: September 08, 2007 08:49:47 PM
Hello!!  I've watched for soo long, I decided why not actually post something....?

So I went to Disneyland earlier this year with my best friend and we ate at the Blue Bayou (so sweeet!)
with our dessert we were given a cute little treasure chest as souvenier.

I collected shells from Manhattan beach and decided to put them in the chest as a gift to my boyfriend, who couldn't come....

He likes domokun.
I like domokun.

So all of a sudden, I found I made this domokun squid that I perched atop the treasure chest!

Its felt and i used regular and embroidery thread.

Hope you like!

thanks fer noticin... heehee
