They are quite different from one another but both interesting, I think. See what you think!
Thanks for looking - Tim

13  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Aurora Bead on: June 16, 2007 06:29:17 AM
I am fascinated by the blending of the colors of the aurora borealis. My Aurora beads are inspired by that unbelievable event.
The beads are assorted translucent colors over a deep black and white gold leaf base. To date, I've made them in a tab shape and a pillow shape.

See what you think. Thanks for looking!! Tim

14  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Leonessa (The Lioness) on: June 02, 2007 03:50:20 AM
I love tiger beads but have never been happy with my own.
My goal has always been to capture something a little bit
different, a bit less obvious. This bead is my latest attempt at
doing so.
See what you think. Can even see why I call it the Lioness?!? I swear, sometimes I can't really see my beads objectively, from another persons point of view. This is why I find the forum so useful! I can tell a lot by the reaction. (or lack there of  Wink )

Thanks for looking!! Tim

15  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Slip-Sliding away... on: May 31, 2007 07:58:22 AM
The second in my new line of "Color Slide" beads. (Remember, I threatened other colors!  Wink)

Thanks for looking! Tim

16  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Color Slide on: May 29, 2007 05:32:51 AM
New stuff!  Cool My latest creation is a bead series called "Color Slide." As you can see from the photos, the colors (along with the white gold leaf) slide and blend. See what you think.

As always, Thanks for looking! Tim  Smiley

17  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Sea Mirror Beads on: May 25, 2007 06:57:43 AM
OK, now I'm posting a bead-a-day. Are you sick of me yet?  Tongue
Lily has a simple but very pretty necklace that features a cobalt / emerald / white gold leaf glass bead that is just beautiful. Today I decided to make my own version. The colors remind me of tide pools. See what you think.
Thanks for looking!  Cool Tim

18  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Sandstorm on: May 23, 2007 09:31:59 PM
New day - New Bead.  Smiley This one is very fascinating to look at, I think. The colors are reminiscent of a desert sandstorm, very natural.

Thanks for looking! - Tim

19  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Blur Bead on: May 23, 2007 07:50:37 AM
I was very pleased to stumble upon a technique that creates a kind of "motion blur" look. See what you think.

As always, thanks for looking!!  Cheesy

20  EUROPE / ITALY / A little breathing room...! on: March 11, 2007 06:01:34 AM
While we certainly thought our little shop was charming, the need for more space was undeniable. However, we didn't relish the thought of leaving Sdrucciolo Dei Pitti, our street that has become our home-away-from-home. Thankfully a larger space came available just a few doors up. We wasted no time in snatching it up!
We were moving in before the paint was even dry. (Yes, it is still the Fuchsia Bead Bottega)
When you have a moment, come see what we've done... (You can visit our Retail Store page here:http://www.beadedlily.com/Retail_Store.htm)

Thanks!!
