this thread totally convinced me to get the book for christmas! i just finished making the baby bonnet today. it turned out sort of big so I felted it.  Grin

hehe i went to the website because i wanted to see the hats! the little hat reservoir looks to me like just the upper part of a really tight hat. maybe if they wear the hats pretty high up on the head and don't fold over the cuff too much, you'll get a hat reservoir? who knows! i've made plans to see the movie tomorrow so maybe i'll find out then....  Grin

I've used the Cascade 220, which is Peruvian sheep wool. It's very nice! A basic, medium-soft, high quality wool yarn.
I'm using that too! It is very soft and it comes in some nice colors. I'm definetely going to use this again.  Grin
