51  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Today I Marry My Best Friend on: August 30, 2006 08:05:00 AM
with sweets' engagement, I'd like to let anyone who wants it have this envelope.  I did make a matching card to go with it, so if you'd like to see an example just ask.

I made a ton of these envelopes just didn't use them cos hubby and I eloped. Cheesy

53  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Mime & Renaissance Girl - Digital Art on: August 29, 2006 08:51:15 AM
I'm originally a digital artist, so I wanted to show off some of my new work.. this is my latest

I'm also thinking about offering my art as prints, any suggestions? I already offer these on card and envelope sets, but never really ventured into prints.. so all suggestinos would be helpful
54  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Mother In Law ideas? on: August 27, 2006 09:09:45 PM
Just wondering what you all make your MIL's?

I adore mine, she's the sweetest person in the world, and I actually get on with her better than my own mother.  My MIL loves anything I make, and I already made her a quilt.. but if you have any ideas, I'd appreciate them.

I do quilting, sewing, digital art, pen and paper art, beading, heck, there's not too much I don't try.
55  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / My Leopard Fae Cards on: August 27, 2006 08:51:16 PM
This is really my first attempt at card making, but I'm originally a digital artist.. so I transferred some of my work onto a template and printed it out.. certainly it's not as beautiful as your cards, but I'm happy with it.. any opinions are welcome.

56  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / free purse patterns? on: August 26, 2006 08:34:11 PM
I'd love to try making a purse, but I don't have any templates or patterns to begin.  Does anyone know of a place I could get one to try?

All help would be appreciated

I combined my two loves for this project, westies and quilting Cheesy

I found a woman who screenprints her art of dogs onto fabric and purchased this fabric from her, the pawprint fabric and the bones I'd had from a long time ago.

Excuse the wrinkes, I pulled it off the bed:

59  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Quadruple DreamCatcher - Blue with Feathers on: August 25, 2006 12:59:05 PM
This is another one of my DreamCatchers. It's made with suede and string, not sinew.  There are wooden beads, and the feathers were all dyed.

The large DreamCatcher measures approx 6 inches in diameter, and the smaller ones are approx 3 inches in diameter.

The 4 beads on the smaller DreamCatchers are meant to represent the 4 cardinal directions and the stages of life.

60  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Dream Catcher - Leather and Sinew on: August 25, 2006 11:04:30 AM
This DreamCatcher is made of real leather and sinew. It features one glass bead, one star hematite bead and five real feathers. The feathers have been humanely found on the beach near where I live.

This DreamCatcher measures 8 inches in diameter and has a leather hanging cord approx. 2.5 inches.
