3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Mac/Windows Computer <3 swap? on: May 06, 2007 01:48:22 PM
I happen to be a Mac fan, and I know I love cool little things with apples or logos and stuff. Would anyone else be interested in this? It could be for Mac people, and Windows people or anyone who wants cool computer gear and accessories. We could make cases, ATCs, pillows, quilts, or little clay things. Also, stuff made from old computer parts or keyboards/mice. Or flash/usb drive cozies, computer cases, cord holders? Let me know if there is any interest, or any ideas for more improvement. Or if there is already a swap like this. Thanks!! Smiley
4  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Beginning to spin but no wool on: March 21, 2007 11:39:20 AM
Hi, I really want to learn how to spin, but where do I start? Is it horribly difficult? What kind of tools would I need to try it out? Also, I kinda don't want to use wool roving; I looked up different kinds of fibers (corn, soysilk, cotton, etc) Which is the easiest to start out with? (and the cheapest!) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!  Grin

And where would I get all these delightful goodies??
