I think I cracked a tooth (I discovered this weekend) so I've been taking it easy and not doing anything new/hard craft wise where I might grit my teeth.
25. I made this card for my Grandma instead!

#25 In honor of katchoo and my boss' 50th birthday, I got up a little early today and made a card.

#23 Labneh!!! I took organic yogurt, added a pinch of salt and let the excess water drain out through a sterile washcloth overnight. The washcloth was really gross afterwards but you need to use a thicker cloth than cheesecloth for this because the yogurt will go right through. As you can see the yogurt is light and fluffy now! Perfect for Mediterranean dinner now!



#24 My first Henna tattoo! My friend wanted a full back and arm tattoo for A-Kon (Anime conference) so I spent two nights making it!

Phew, here are the rest of my March projects, it was a before and after month!
15. The Elevator on my floor looked horrid (I painted it two and half years ago), time, keys, and jerks had whittled away at the paint so I gave it a nice facelift:


16. And the little enclave also needed some repair thanks to a Dia de los Muertos candle explosion! The wax residue was would not come off the wall all the way were it dripped down-argh. I think I may still go over the trunk with some dark purple lines for the bark but it works for now!


17. Another calorimetry, with a new yarn!


18. My first attempt to decoupage on jewelry, one of those wooden bangles from the craft store. It might need coat with some type of varnish...


19. Experimenting with my new Letraset markers (I've never used markers before like this!) and another character created:


20.  A feminist workbook, sorta like the Anti-Coloring book with prompts for writing and thinking! This page was about influencing young girls via media and comic book heros:

21. Bath bombs! I have never made these before but we used oils from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab and they are to die for! The best was Miskatonic University, it smelled like chocolate chip cookies! Sorry for the mug shot of myself and my 'teacher'! We just used some 1/4 and 1/2 measuring cups for the mix (minus borax) and they came out quite nicely!

And YESSSS! It totally fits my A-4 comic book sheets perfectly-no bag has come close! I hate carrying them around in my hand and now I don't have to! You are an angel, Mollie!

WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THIS! So I open my tape-laden box to see a Cat and Girl comic:

Wrapped in pretty black tulle were my wonderful gifts! A fucking fly bracelet that I can adjust to small or large, magnets featuring Guerilla Girls and comic book heros. The pink bag held two welded necklaces.

Also enclosed were beautiful cards that only spectacularly awesome feminists will be allowed to receive!

And at the bottom was the GIGANTIC item: a journal/politico-art zine that is even more like a discussion betwixt myself and redidin. Check out the gorgeous hand-made book!:

Inside were many quotes, anecdotes and things to ponder...along with three gorgeous bookmarks featuring Wonder Woman and Batgirl (that one already in a graphic novel).
