Etching guns are also a possibility - I don't know what kind of precision you can get with those, but an option worth looking into for anyone interested in trying it out.

I love the simplicity of your pieces. I think for the sterling and prehnite/ruby necklaces a simple hoop earring with 3-5 stones would compliment nicely.
