2  adjustable loop and crochet charts Help in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by choochoo on: August 27, 2006 06:04:54 PM
I got a japanese amigurumi book and I'm trying to follow the charts but the first thing it says  to do is chain 1 then then single crochet 5 times
so am I supposed to make an adjustable loop first than chain 1 and single crochet 5 times in the loop or do I single 5 times in the chain? OR do I do something else?
Here's a picture of the chart:(If that would even be helpful......)

Also what do the dashed lines coming out the circle to the other chart mean, how do i read that, what do i do?

3  tutorial for pointy kitty!?HELP in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions by choochoo on: August 23, 2006 10:09:23 PM
I tried making this http://weewonderfuls.typepad.com/wee_wonderfuls/store/pointykitty.html
And I have no idea what I'm doing!
I don't know how to sew, except for straight lines( but not really) ahaahha Cry
and I've never made anything using a pattern
So If anyone would be so kind as to make a tutorial with pictures or just explain it then please do! Cheesy
I don't even know how to pin things!
Here's what I did:

sewed real terrible and without pinning  Undecided

those are the pieces i cut out(not including the 2 pieces i already sew together),which took forever and i probably did it wrong!! haha

Those are the pieces i sewed together,it doesn't right at all
and another

Thanks : )

4  Toys-pattern links included with all! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by choochoo on: August 22, 2006 05:38:40 PM
I learned to crochet 2 weeks ago
Here are some toy things I've done in the past two weeks:
Little Octopus

I used this pattern http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82784.0 for all of them but for the last one I used two strands of yarn
Momo the octopus

Got the pattern at  http://roxycraft.com/ when it was free Cheesy
I did miss some steps though,so it was pretty hard to place the legs and some of them just looked like knobs sticking out of him so I just took them off.I really like how he turned out though

Got the pattern from http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=27530&highlight=duck%2Fchicken
And a popsicle!

I saw a felt popsicle on etsy and tried to make one hahaha,no pattern
I've made other toys too I just don't have pictures of them
If you have any questions just ask!
