32  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Tink poppet on: November 30, 2009 06:38:37 AM

This is the fourth poppet I've made.  She is a birthday present for my daughter's friend.  I was going for Tinkerbell and I think you can tell who she is supposed to be.

There are a few more pics on my blog here:

I do like them with black in the ears, but you could always use felt instead if the yarn was a pain.

monocromatic designs drive me bonkers, but they always end up looking super awesome.  I'm really digging how the shading turned out.  I would have had a hard time giving this baby up.

39  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: I'm back! Golden Snowball Quilt on: May 11, 2009 07:43:07 PM
ooh.  im lovin this!!!  I dig the patchwork and the snowball together..  I've only seen the snowball as an i spy quilt.

It looks like it meets the kitty seal of approval, which is important as well.

I like the color combination and the way the stripes feature each fabric's design.  I also realized i have some of that soccer fabric!  great job, im sure it will be loved by baby and momma.
