awesome job! I love blue quilts.  I have some of that same blue map fabric that I found in a remnant bin. I've been having the hardest time deciding what to use it for.  I love that you used it in the border.

Hehe!  No, it doesn't have a tail.  I forgot to make one when I was assembling the doll.  I had thought about hand stitching one on, but I couldn't quite figure out the logistics of the tail and the diaper.  My daughter hasn't noticed it doesn't have a tail...yet.  I'm sure if she makes a stink I'll whip one up.

I made a baby poppet for my daughter for Christmas.  This will probably be the last baby poppet I ever make.  Ugh it was tiny and the fabric was uncooperative.   Aside from that, the wee bugger turned out ok.

I think the baby is much cuter than the momma.  My sewing and poppet making skills have really improved since I made the Momma Jaguar poppet.  I'm sure glad I didn't attempt to make a baby poppet sooner!

I have wanted all 3 of melinda's dragon patterns for years now.  I should just bite the bullet and buy them for myself since no one is getting the hint at gift giving time.

I was searching for fabrics to make a baby quilt for my nephew and I came across my first attempt at a postage stamp quilt.  I had gotten confused somewhere in the assembly process and decided I should do something a bit more basic for a postage stamp quilt.  When the quilt pieces resurfaced, thought it would make a great quilt for a baby poppet doll I'd made for my daughter for Christmas.  

I think the binding turned out a bit ripply because I didn't hand stich it.  (Does anyone else have that problem if they machine stitch their binding?)  I think the whole thing would have turned out better if I quilted it by hand, but I don't have a lot of time to do secret crafting.  My daughter is so sneeky/nosey!!!

I'd love to do more Disney Ladies, but I'm not sure I could manage the fancy dresses or the updos.  Anyone know how to make a top knot out of hair wefts???

I had also thought about making her an arrival dress from the first movie, but I just didn't have enough time.

Tink went off to her new home this evening.  It was hard to say goodbye. I've had second and third thoughts about giving her away. It's hard to say how the doll was recieved because there was so much excitement with all the rest of the presents.  The girl did give it a big hug before going onto opening the next gift.  I figure that's a good sign!

I would love to share the patterns, but I don't have access to a scanner or anything to get the pattern piece into the computer.  I could snail mail it to you though. PM me with your address if you like.
