1  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / I recently lost a friend... on: August 21, 2008 08:47:36 PM
I don't know if this is in the right forum but I hope so.
I recently lost a friend and co-worker to domestic violence.

I have an etsy store, and have decided to donate 50% of all sales to a fund created for her children
(2 yr old girl and 7 yr old boy)

There is more information about what I am doing on my blog:
http://www.ashleyspatula.blogspot.com

I will be doing this until the end of September.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give it a read.

These are too awesome, I had some teeth pulled but they wouldn't give them to me.  I was very upset.

those are very cute and great idea with the embossing powder!
Is it pretty sturdy?  I use resin sometimes does it hold up as well as that?

Variant, I got the colored jump rings from a chain maille supplier.  It's the rings they use to make the colorful bracelets and other jewelry.

Littlebiskit, I haven't had any problem with drilling the eyeballs or the wings.

Thank you for the comments Smiley  They eyeballs are actually 1'' buttons that were made with my original eyeball drawings, I took the pinback part out and actually drilled holes in the sides to put the jumprings through.
So the eyeballs are very durable.  I have just the buttons I put on my purse and backpack.  I have also made a few sets of eyeball bobby pins from these.  I love all the different things I can do with them.

I use prismacolor color pencils to color the eyes

The wings are charms that I got at micheal's craft store I had to drill extra holes in them too.

I made one of these necklaces based off of the famous Von Dutch drawing of a flying eyeball.  I loved it so much I had to make more, in different colors Smiley
