1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Custom wedding cake order on: October 20, 2011 03:56:26 PM
This was a lot of fun to make. I tried a bunch of new techniques and I'm really proud of the topper. I carefully sculpted, painted, and glazed it. The topper is about 16 millimeters and the entire cake is just over 3 inches. There's a thin piece of ribbon at the base of each tier that I added on after baking. Probably one of my most favorite pieces so far. Can't wait until she gets it.

Mixing the colors was the hardest part and getting it into the bag. But yay. Loved these as a kid even though now they taste like crap to me. They're such an aesthetically pleasing candy to look at.

The most difficult part was trying to get them in the bag while i crimped it. they kept popping out.

10  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Tiny Lord Stingray(from Superjail) in a box on: August 17, 2011 12:24:45 AM
I love Superjail!....I carefully crafted him from polymer and painted on details, then I put together the box with clear cellophane and printed out the images from online and glued them on.
