I made a pair for me and one for my sister. these were very quick and easy.

Hello Everyone,  I'd like to make one of those triangular shaped hats like an old sleeping cap, you know?  Does anyone know of a pattern? It really doesnt look very hard to do but i cant figure out when and where to decrease to get that shape. Heres a pic of what i'm talking about.

oh that's awesome! i'll be moving there next semester and going to ul. doing the community college thing right now, but i'm running out of classes to take..time to upgrade lol. did you know they opened up a new yarn store on pinhook? i haven't been there yet, trying to eliminate my stash of cheap red heart crap, and sell whatever i make, then i can have more room (and money) for the nice expensive stuff  lol my fiance's been wearing beanies of red heart super saver and i've been wearing shrugs of caron simply soft for LONG ENOUGH i say!

oh my gosh. this is so cool! i thought it was a bracelet when i saw the first pic.  i wish you had in progress pics. i cant imagine knitting in the round with sewing needles.

Since minuette is gonna be out of town for a while i figured i'd post pics of what i sent her.  I dont have any good pics though.  They are white and gold. the wing on the first page is poly clay. and there is lots of glitter that you cant see.

I'm trying to figure out how to make some little slots or something to stick them in at the beginning and end of my book.  I bought a book on bookbinding last night so hopefully i'll get started on making my covers soon.
