I made a set of earrings with a matching necklace for my sister-in-law's birthday later this month. Only problem is, I don't want to give them away! I love them too much.

Hi all. I am considering setting up an Etsy store to cater to my beading addiction. At this point, I would be perfectly happy to cover the costs of my supplies, though a little extra pocket money would come in handy too.

My questions relate to the fact that I am in Australia. I wonder could any other Australian Etsiers let me know what their experience is. Do they sell mostly overseas? Is the extra cost of shipping a problem to them? That sort of thing.

Like everything I do, I am overthinking this, I know. Any advice on this gratefully received.

So, I started knitting a sweater for my nephew while my SIL was still pregnant. Said child is now 3 years old, long since grown too big for the sweater, and, well, I never finished it because, frankly, there were too many ends to sew in. Then, inspired by the Colour Craftalong, I dug it out and finally sewed it up.

I present the Rainbow Sweater.

Would anyone be interested in a craftalong of the things we make for the babies or children in our lives?

I keep seeing references to these, and I can't quite wrap my head around the idea. I've googled them, and I've visited some through the links hereabouts.

Could some kind soul explain what a wist is, and how they are used...?
