1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Halloween Party on a Budget on: September 25, 2006 10:23:14 PM
So I work for a college radio station.  One of the top 10 college radio stations and the only rock station in the NYC area.  We wanted to put together a Halloween party for staff as it is a weekday night and we have classes the next day.

Now hopefully we have the entree food covered for.  But I need help for decoration ideas, drinks, desserts and what not.  It also can't be expensive and lavish because we are quite poor college students.  Any ideas guys?
2  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Casey's Coat on: September 13, 2006 07:25:58 PM
I finally finished my first sweater type project!  We got a new puppy, named Scarlett.  So I decided to make her a sweater!

Sorry, the pictures really suck  Undecided
The puppy doesn't like to stay still very often. Another hinderance is the fact that everytime I put the sweater on the dog, the cat seen in the second photo attacks the puppy  Embarrassed  I think she hates the sweater...

I know the sweater is short, a bad mistake on my part not to measure the doggie beforehand.  I'm also afraid its not going to fit pretty soon cause the puppy is getting chubby.  Other than that, I'm pretty proud of myself that I was able to do something that was not a rectangle.
