*blushes* Awww thanks. What's odd is I am not usually (at least at the time) so quick with stuff like that, usually back then I would freeze up a lot. But DAMN did I feel good about it for days, MONTHS later!! Cheesy

I just saw the partner message too, sooooo excited, seems to be a perfect matched LOL

I rarely laugh out loud anyway but I do laugh at some books, more than at anything else. I also hate having my reading time interupted. Once on a train I was reading (dunno what maybe Harry Potter) and this group of teen girls stopped, stared, pointed and squealed "OMG! shes READING... a book!!" like it was the biggest scandal ever to rock their world. Followed by "Oi! What you reading for?!?"... how do you answer that?

For THIS, I have to share my rather long story here:
I was in high school, and had to commute quite a bit each way, including a ride on the Staten Island ferry. I was not really popular in high school, and hated the "in" crowd idea, but at the time I had a group of three other girls I sat with on the boat. One of them was cool (Girl 1), but her two friends I didn't like much.
Anyway, one afternoon Girl 2 saw this skateboarder outside the terminal and called out to him. He ended up sitting with us on the boat, this older guy (21 to our collective 16) and the other girls were talking and flirting with him - especially Girl 2 that I did not like - but I was reading, The Midnight Garden I think (and it clearly *looks* like a "young" book) and am not really involved in the conversation. As we are getting off the boat, Girl 2 decides to score some points with The Guy. She takes my book out of my hand (yes I was reading while walking!) and starts reading slowly and mockingly "kid-style" from the page I was on.
Without hestitation I exclaimed in a SHOCKED voice "Whatever-her-name-was! You can read!!?!!"
Knocked her right out of the water LOL and got a big laugh out of The Guy as well, to her total humiliation. (A guy btw I dated a few months later!)
