The nifty "organic egg" cartons - that are plastic - are perfect for painting purposes. I often cut them in half to make them a set of six - they take up less storage room that way.

The coolest thing I had to craft with was many years ago, they did phone repairs outside and had a bundle of excess wires they were throwing away. My sister and I took them, as on the "inside" were hundreds of smaller plastic-coated wires in tons of colors!

Oh and of course I love making wings out of clothes hangers lol.
