1  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Star Wars Trunk or Treat decorations on: October 27, 2014 12:39:13 PM
Since I made my son's costume this year as a Jedi, I thought I would make a few Star Wars themed decorations for a trunk or treat we will be going to this Friday.
The R2D2 is made out of a domed topped trash can and some different colored duck tape. AT AT is made of recycled materials, pringle cans, shoe box, and duck tape.

Thanks! It's nice to get back to something crafty. It's been almost 3 years since I've done anything creative.
3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Jedi costume for my 19 month old on: October 24, 2014 12:50:31 PM
I will update with photos of him wearing it. The costume doesn't look anything impressive until he tries it on. I'm hoping to go dressed as Leia and my hubby as Hans. We are going to a trunk or treat and will be decorating the car Star Wars theme.
4  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Jedi costume for my 20 month old on: October 22, 2014 01:21:23 PM
Finished in one afternoon. The directions were so easy and no pattern was needed http://www.degraeve.com/jedirobe/ . I wish I could have gotten a photo of my son wearing it, but he wouldn't even put it on. I hope he will on Halloween night when we go trick or treating. Still waiting for his light saber in the mail. Recently moved overseas to Korea and I guess Star Wars is not big with the kids and I couldn't find one at a local store. Will update once I get him to try it on. Details on my blog reese52.blogspot.com.

Edited to add photos with my little Jedi wearing the costume.

Not sure if this the correct place to post. Please let me know if I need to move to another board.

Just in time for Halloween season, but then I would wear this even after Halloween. I took a place scarf, traced a skull pattern I found from google and hand sewn on both sides of the scarf.

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Scrappy Animals on: July 21, 2011 05:49:43 PM
This is such a great idea for using up scrap material, not to mention so darn cute!  I thought the same thing one I saw the sideways triangles.  As soon as I saw those, I thought that's gotta be Phizzy's creation.
