3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Pendant with felt on: March 30, 2009 08:50:10 AM
these are so cute! i wish i could make everything out of felt.  I took a look at your etsy and kuts page, very nice work.  do you have any suggestions for cutting felt?  i have a really hard time, especially when it's not solid shapes and involves cutting inside the shape.  your felt looks very thick though so that probably helps right?

thank you Smiley

I am going to start bottling things like homemade vanilla extract(glass bottles). putting things like lib balm and such in tins, and cleaner in spray bottles....I am located in Nova Scotia and am wondering if anyone knows where I can buy things like clear plastic spray bottles, small glass bottles and little metal tins from?  Not necessarily in bulk

Thank you!

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: fabric stenciling...paint? on: March 06, 2009 07:45:06 AM
excellent! thank so much! I definitely doesn't come out as bright and vibrant as screening ink, but it's cheaper Smiley I bought the textile medium and also as advised if you're using think cotton and it tends to kink up once dried, to use a liquid thinner (by golden brand) and that helps without having to use water, just an FYI.

thanks for the help

freezer paper is something new to me...it is the sticky sided stuff right?  so can someone fill me in or point me to tut using this for stenciling? I gather it's like using tape? you cut the design out of the paper stick it on the shirt put you ink on and peel off?

10  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / new sewing...machine thread and bobbin thread jamming on: March 05, 2009 09:49:04 AM
very new to sewing machine world, I have a singer prelude brand new...I am sewing fairly thin fabric with reg cotton thread, but the I get sewing and it jams and even though I step on the peddle it won't move, and I end up with like 4-6 thread lines coming out of the hole thing where the bobbin thread comes though.. I have tried everything...re-threaded the bobbin and main thread, replaced the needle, changed threads, even cleaned and lubricated still doing the same things, is this a common problem? It seems like something is getting caught up in the bobbin area!! any help appreciated Smiley Huh
