I found this old Russian fabric in some kind of thrift-store a while ago. Thrilled by the awesome discovery, I bought all they had left, which sadly wasn't more than barely enough to make this bag. Originally, my plans was to make a bunch of wallets and purses for friends, but at some point my egocentric self took over, and I decided to spend all the fabric on this bag. 

So, I made myself a new bag. This time, I didn't really need a new one as urgently as I usually do whenever I decide to create a new bag, but I fell in love with the fabric the moment we met, and so I just had to make something of it. The strap is from my last bag, I just cut it off because I didn't feel like making a completely new one. Cruel, I know, but life is cruel and I want my bags to understand this. The outer fabric is very raincoat-ish so it was really weird to work with, and the whole bag still feels a bit unusual, but at least my schoolstuff is kept dry in rainy weather.

I would totally want to try this for myself too, although I'd never have enough willpower to put the used needles into their excact places again

I have to say that I'm not the most skilled sewer in the universe yet, so the zipper was a real pain in the beh*nd. I worked on it for three days, while my homework just piled up into a cute little mountain beside my sewing machine. As you may see, the lining had to be stitched on in a kind of amateurish way, but it was the only way I could think of doing it then.

And yes– I will definately make sure it doesn't run off

After my regular pencil case for some reason just decided to disappear, I went a week or so before I realising that keeping all my pencils in my pocket just isn't the most practical (or coolest, for that sake) way of transporting my stuff to school. So, I made a new one. I had some problems with the zipper, as I never have made them curved before.

Okay, so I found this really cool and flowery, old tablecloth at my local thriftstore.
And then I made a bag. It's the fourth bag i have ever made, and as bags are the only things I actually do sew, I don't have like an awful amount of experience. But I like it, and it works for my school-stuff.

After I realized that the wallet I got from a dear friend a while ago actually was made of real leather, I decided to make a new one.
Now I'm not the most experienced sewer in the world, so I'm actually pretty happy with the result. There's four small pocket for my cards, some space for coins and stuff, and still it fits in my pocket.

Okay, now I'm a bit frustrated here...
I am sewing a bag for a girlfriend (not my girlfriend, but a friend who happends to be a girl), and it would be finished a long time ago, if it wasn't for the fact that I simply cannot find any of those pieces for adjusting the length of the shoulder-strap, anywhere!
On previous bags I've sewn, I've obtained them from older bags or from old military-belts (I found at a thrift-store), which often happen to carry these, for some reason.
But now I've searched the whole town, and I just can't find any shop selling these, or anything even slightly resembling them..
So, I'm thinking about ordering some from the internet, but as English is not my first language, I don't really know what they are called, or if they even have a name at all.
