1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Hidden in plain site! Cat litter cabinet on: January 13, 2010 06:38:07 PM
When this was first posted, I thought it was a great idea, however I had an extreme aversion to cats.  Almost a year later, with a new boyfriend who owns three WONDERFUL kitties, I truly appreciate the genius of this project.  I guarantee that the moment I own my own home and adopt my own cats, this is the very next thing that I will make!  This is one project that I actually think about on a regular basis, and I describe it to ALL cat-owning friends (or potential cat owners).
Congratulations on winning a "Best of 2009"!  Cheesy

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Aleita Shell on: January 06, 2009 07:14:11 PM
Good job!  I started that pattern FOUR times and it just kept coming out huge no matter what I did!  Congratulations on getting it right!
7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: My attempt at the butterflies pic on: January 02, 2009 08:25:32 AM
I like it on the white card because it makes it look as if the butterflies are coming through from behind, instead of just stuck to the front.  Sort of an emergence thing...

9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Calcifer--Now with a pattern! on: January 01, 2009 09:03:46 PM
Excellent use of Fun Fur!  I don't know who Calcifer is but he is the cutest!
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: first thing i ever crocheted! on: January 01, 2009 09:01:01 PM
I think it looks great!  I love granny squares and get a billion compliments on a tank I made that is basically two huge squares sewn together.
Since you want us to be BRUTAL, though, I agree with the other suggestion...  A border of single crochet or even just slip stitch along the bottom would really pull it together, if you didn't want to undertake the scalloped sort of edging yet.  Wink
