1  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / pocahontas dress on: May 23, 2008 11:48:27 AM
Hello all! For my 17h birthday, my friend and I threw a Hollywood theme party. I dressed up as Pocahontas (even though strictly speaking she's Disney not Hollywood Embarrassed but no one complained Grin) The photos are taken at the party, you can see me holding my presents and cutting the cake.

So without any further ado, I present the Pocahontas costume I made myself:

I used suede and I made the fringe by cutting little srtips. I gave myself a red tattoo on my arm and everything! I had fun making it and i had fun wearing it!

xx ani

I changed the links so hopefully they work now
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Tube Top on: December 25, 2006 11:29:32 AM
So! It's christmas day and, well, all the presents have been opened and we're all wondering what to do with ourselves now...So I decided to get crafty with the fabric my sister got me and voil! my very own tube top: sorry the pic is puny.. Embarrassed

btw, if anyone could enlighten me as to how you get the image itself on the post and not a link that would be great...either that or how you manage to get a link picture that's not microscopic... Huh

After 10 hours of plane rides from India (not to mention delays in Frankfurt) i got home, opened my suitcase, pulled out the bag of fabric the i brought over (i didn't restrain myself at all..man fabric is cheap over there!) and got sewing. very soon after, i got this:

Sorry the pic is so small! i couldn't figure out how to make it bigger...
It was really easy to make and now i wear it every day (well...almost...) Yay!
