11  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Please help? Knitting Calendar Page needed! on: March 24, 2008 11:12:24 PM
HI!  I received a wonderful Christmas present this year; the 208 Knitting Calendar with Desiree Scales & Friends.  I started February 29th's project in January;  a cute shrug.  BUT!!!  I have lost my page!!  Oh NO!!!  I'm halfway down the sleeves, knitting both at once in order to keep the same tension and keep the sleeves the same   length; thanks to craftsters knitting forum tips!  Does ANYONE out there have the same calendar?  If you do, PLEASE could you scan February 29th's page and email it to me?   I'm not sure if we are allowed to post email on the forums, so if you im me I will send you my email.  Thank you thank you thank you in advance; the shrug was going to be my mom's birthday present, and now it will be somewhat late, but I still really want to finish it.  Thanks again to anyone who can help me!  -Lisa

Thank you thank you THANK YOU  for putting up the pattern!  When I first saw this post I ran to my mom's to borrow her knitting needles and got my first lesson in casting on and knitting and purling.  I have made two pairs of mittens now and one sock; so I think I'm ready to make this toque for the boy!   I am learning knitting just to make this!  My boy is going to FREAK!   This post ROCKS!!! Thank you so much!  Yay!  -Lisa

Cheesy  Hi All you Saskatoonians and Area-ers!  Just wondering how many of you are selling at the Fringe/ visiting the Fringe  this year; it would be cool to see Craftsters in person!  I am vending this year for the first time.  Skirts, belts, bags.  I know of one other girl who is vending.  Anyone? I will list where I will be as soon as I know; I'd love for any Craftsters to come and say hi!  See you there!
18  CANADA / Saskatchewan / Re: Saskatoon craft fairs on: June 26, 2007 12:23:09 PM
I am IN for a november fair; we could do it on broadway maybe, and I LOVE the idea of hot chocolate and stuff.  Anybody else interested?  If we can get even 5-6 people, we can start looking into location, and city permission and stuff; I love it!! YAY!!
19  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Do I look like a sausage?/ or the incredible shrinking pants..... on: June 13, 2007 03:40:41 PM
These pants are awesome!  I was going to suggest something like the evening out thing, but instead of knotting the laces at each grommet you could sew a strip of leather, or any color of fabric under the strip.  That would also hold it in place to get a flattering line (but that would only be me; I do think they look very sexy with the skin showing!)  You do what you want with the pants, but know that they are HOT!  (and not sausage-like!!)  Smiley

meep!  Sorry, serging is a type of sewing using a serger sewing machine; they run a bit more expensive than regular sewing machines, but are sooooo worth it I think!  Here's a link:
