2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Garbage purse, Shirley Manson on: April 07, 2005 04:43:33 PM
Hey
I made a stencil of Garbage's singer Shirley Manson and I decided to make a bag with her face.
I used flowery fabric and fabric paint for the image.

Here it is, tell me what you think  Smiley

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Cute matches on: March 07, 2005 03:48:22 PM
Some months ago my mom bought a box of like 300 little matchboxes, when I saw them all ugly and yellow I decided to turn them into cute little mathcboxes. So I took a magazine, I picked some images, cut them and then pasted them on the matchbox. When I was done I used transparent nail polish to make it all shiny. I made a few but here are the pictures of the first one :

I love them and you can make them to give with some candles or stuff like that. Smiley

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Sewing techniques and definitions ... school project PLEASE HELP on: October 13, 2004 03:04:23 PM
Hi,

At school I'm doing this project in which I will sew a dress to show the influences of media and artists on young girls.  In addition to sewing the dress, I must write a handbook which says how to sew it, for that I would need a site where I can find sewing techinques so my explanation on how to sew a dress seems more serious. If you know a webpage like that, could you just answer here or send me a message?

Thank you!

PS. If you know one in french it would be even better!
6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / i want to do an abstract painting, can you help me? warning: nudity drawing on: July 19, 2004 09:39:01 AM
ok, i had the idea of painting a couple making love, but in an sort of abtract way cause i didn't want sex being the main theme of the painting. but it isn't turning out so well. I started doing the sketch of the couple so I could paint them more easily, but I think it was wrong cause I mostly focused on painting them ... So now it looks like the second picture (it's not finished yet). Anyone has an idea for the next time I try this kind of painting, how I can sketch some guide lines that will not distract me from doing more an abstract painting?

Thanks

7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / I have nothing to do wiht my collages ... any idea? on: May 31, 2004 04:59:56 PM
Hi
I'm a collage-poster maniac. I make them every time I have enough magazines to cut images from. Usually I make them 21'x16' over big zine posters. But I already have many collage-posters in my room and don't know how to do with the new ones. I don't want to give them away. So what should I use them for? Do you have an idea? Thanks a lot

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / any ideas for a "bead curtain" alike project? on: May 31, 2004 04:47:29 PM
hey
it's been a while i've been thinking of making a bead curtain but the beads are a little too expensive to buy (if i want enough for the curtain). So I wanted to ask you guys ideas for a curtain which would use objects less expensive than pearls but that would give the same effect. if you don't know what i mean with "bead curtain" just look at the image.

or if you don't see the image, go there : http://www.fozzilinymoo.org/Fozzolog/images/20020831-closet_beads.640x480.jpg

thanks!
ale ... ps. sorry for my sucky english :s

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Silky & Slouchy Ribbon Bag----I'm new here on: May 21, 2004 09:09:06 PM
hey!
i'm really happy about finding this website, i've seen so many pretty things all of you have done, i got some cool ideas for new projects, and its a fun way to waste my time hehe. so i just joined the site and i'm here showing you a bag i made today.

it's made with silky white fabric, a pink ribbon and a string of pearls. i thikn it's such a cute bag, and i can change the ribbon if pink doesn't go with the clothes i'm wearing, so i can use it with everything. here are some pics, please can you tell me what you think about it or if there's something fun i could add to the design? thanx

i know this picture and the second one are not good quality pics, but its just to give you a general idea of what the bag looks like.
