a couple little gifts for some friends inspired by the work of don hertzfeldt

the little fluffball with rectal bleeding is from the film rejected and the boy getting accosted by the balloon is from the film billy's balloon.  hah, i love these things...

8  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / bizarro card protectors! on: September 20, 2006 08:53:35 PM
so i guess card protectors serve no real purpose... they just kinda sit on your hand until you fold or call or whatever...

well anyway, a buddy of mine plays alot of poker / texas hold 'em... probably 3 - 5 nights outta the week. he was using a tiny bart simpson, like it came out of a machine for 50 cents or something, which wasn't bad or anything but i figured he might as well have something a little more unique

still having a few problems with the camera being kinda blurry but you get the idea.  just fimo, sand, paint, BAM! Cheesy
hope ya like!
9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / the maxx on: August 29, 2006 02:18:02 AM

does a good job guarding my cds heh

one of the reasons i made this was to try out some blacklight paints...unfortunately at the time most of my "canvases" were scraps of thin cardboard from work so the yellow didn't turn out as good...eh, oh well  Undecided

10  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / invader zim box set lawn...now with robot gopher! on: August 29, 2006 12:33:54 AM
"it's just not zim's house without a yard", i remember thinking...

the gnomes & gopher are FIMO, blowfish is Sculpey, lawn is a styrofoam block w/ felt, fence is cardboard w/ crayon, the sidewalk just paper & crayon, and the flag i printed from an episode screencap with small aluminum tubing for the pole.  so yeah, hope this is the right place to post this, hope ya like it!  Grin
