Thanks all...ummm, it took about a week & 1/2, but i wasn't working on it for more than an hour or so at a time and not everyday either...have to change it about once a week if that gives an idea of how often it's used.  Mostly paper trash so really don't run into a problem w/ moisture and i've noticed that people are pretty careful when they throw something away so as for it getting dirty...hasn't been much of a problem.  Still, sealing it would prolly be a good idea huh? Anyway, thanks again for all the compliments, and yeah yeah yeah....meatwad beanbag...that would be sweet!
23  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / army man tree on: August 28, 2006 02:17:48 PM
awhile back i saw something similar to this...smaller and with hot glue holding it together.  this one took a little over 2000 army men, around 1600 zip ties, some all thread bolted through the table for support, and no telling how many hours to put together.  great functionality though, holds my keys, phone, wallet, watch, and pretty much anything small that i would normally throw on an end table  Grin
