So cute!!!  Is there a petticoat under that or does it just hang that way?
Super cute, very vintage too!
Yup, yup yup! There is a petticoat under the skirts =D

Thank you everyone for all of your nice comments =] It totally means a lot!

As for a pattern I drafted everything my self. The skirt is just a simple circle skirk and I think there is a tutorial for one on the tutorial thread. For the shirt I used my dressform (set to my friend's measurments) to make the left front, right front, and back pieces. It's kinda hard to explain with just words BUT I plan on making another friend a button-up shirt (with a hood that has bunny ears - can you say cute!) in a few weekends and I'll post a tutorial on how I made the shirt if people would like.

I hope that helped!! =D

Awesome they are both really cute!!!  Grin they look like sailor loli, are they?
I think so. I really don't know *anything* about loli fashion. The outfit is from Metamorphose (I think!) from a while a go =] Hope that answered your question!

Nice!  I would completely wear the skirts.  How were they constructed?

They are just simple circle skirts with a petticoat underneath to give it volume =D

I just bought that pattern, yours look so nice!! does the pattern run true to size? Ive noticed some patterns end up Bigger/smaller than what it says. Just wondering I just hate to ruin the fabric i bought for the skirt.

It did run true to size for me. My friend wanted it to rest on her hips, so I took her hip measurements and traced out the size bases on that. What I always recommend is to make a muslin first =] I usually hit up my local walmart and go to the $1 per yard section. It cost a little more in the long run, but nothing is worse than cutting into really nice fabric and then the garment doesn't fit. I hoped that helped! Please ask me any questions, and I'll be glad to help =D

Very pretty!
I looove the pattern on the first one, but it's easier to see how it's constructed on the second one. Both look adorable.

How do they fit?

They fit my friend uber well!!! She's gotten a lot of complements on the skirts from her office mates =D
Thanks for your comment =]
