I got my swap package from uradelight today!  Yay!  Please excuse the mess in the background of the photos, I am in a craft frenzy right now!!  Here are the pics:

Everything together:

Earrings and Stitch Markers:

Felt Cherry Blossom Book:

Action shot of crochet hook roll:

She also sent some yarn, scrapbook paper, a pink draw-string pouch, pink glitter candles and one of those clippy things on a stand.  Thank you uradelight and thank you Kishcrafts for organizing a great swap.

Think Pink Card to tell her about all her items:

13  Re: The Japanese Little Present Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by TwistedRedhead on: February 28, 2007 07:37:14 PM
CrashTestDuckie received her package last week when she was recovering from the flu so I thought I would post pictures of what I sent.

I made her a set of six notecards:

a journal:

and a necklace made with origami beads, sterling silver, jasper, quartz, and lapis:

I also decorated the box that I sent the necklace in, but I didn't get a picture of that.  I don't have a better, more detailed picture of the necklace, but I did wear it one day before I sent it out and got tons of complements.

I hope she likes everything as much as I enjoyed making it!

I got my package from GiantSquid yesterday and I love it love it love it!  Here are the pictures:

Everything all together

The lucky shrinky-dink bracelet

The fishbowl bag

and last but not least, the cherry blossom tote (please excuse the horrible kitchen floor in the background, we are going to tile over it, so I didn't feel bad about staining bookcases without putting paper down)

As you can see from the first picture she also included some stickers and some gorgeous origami paper.  She somehow found my weakness!  My name is TwistedRedhead and I am addicted to origami paper.

Thanks again GiantSquid.  I love my package!  Also, thanks to Simply for organizing, I had a lot of fun with this swap.  I can't wait to see what everyone else received.

15  Re: Fill-a-Box Supply Swap: New Years Resolution Clean those Craft Closets in The Swap Gallery by TwistedRedhead on: January 19, 2007 05:40:31 PM
Finally!  Here are my pictures from the awesome package that halfelvenwriter sent.  Sorry I didn't post them sooner, I had a very important bead show to go to down in MA today.   Wink

First, she sent a lot of great yarn and other fibers since I am teaching myself how to crochet:

She also sent a LOT of great paper scraps which will definately be put to good use.  I particularly like the Wonder Woman sheet.  There were also lots of stickers and die cuts, lots and lots of beads, an altoids tin, a needle case, some moss which my husband will be stealing for his Warhammer guys, dominoes, and....I could keep going and going like the Energizer Bunny.  Here's the pic:

THANK YOU so much!  I love everything.  I will be sure to post whatever is created from my new craftastic bounty.

Looks like everyone else is making out great in this swap as well.  Thanks for organizing Oops Creations!  My new crocheted hat is off to you.

16  Advent Calendar for my sister (complete w/ photos) in Winter Holidays by TwistedRedhead on: December 11, 2006 07:37:02 PM
My sister's birthday is on December 1st and she just moved into her first apartment.  So, inspired by all the great Advent calendars on Craftster, I made her this to take her from her birthday to Christmas in style.

I bought a Coca-Cola bottle crate at a local antique store for $15, cleaned it out really good and then spraypainted it a dark reddish-brown color.  For each day, I made a small brown paper sack type bag out of scrapbook paper and put a gift inside and tied it shut with a bow and used stickers for the numbers.

She really loved it, especially because of a mix-up at the post office, she received it late and opened 11 days of Advent all at once.

17  Re: Easy Peasy Christmas Card Swap in The Swap Gallery by TwistedRedhead on: December 11, 2006 07:13:57 PM
I received all five of my cards, so I hope it's ok to post them!

From ScotSkipper:

From CJSachiko (my freshman year roommate was named Sachiko!):

From lilliesnremains:

From curse10:

Last but not least, from retro-redux:

Sorry that some of the images are small.  I am still trying to grasp that whole resizing thing in Photoshop.  Thanks everyone for the fun swap.  I have all my cards proudly displayed in my front hallway.  I hope you enjoy the cards I sent.  Happy Holidays to everyone!!

18  Implant get well card in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by TwistedRedhead on: November 20, 2006 07:40:50 PM
A friend of mine recently got breast implants and I wanted to make her an appropriate get well card.  Here's what I came up with (she really likes monkeys):

The inside says "Feel better soon."

How long do you suppose before Hallmark starts selling these?

This is so fun!  Here are the photos of what I received from Ransom on Saturday.  I took the pictures quickly this morning and then posted them as quickly as possible, so the quality may not be the best...

Here is the box everything came in.  I like the stenciling on top:

Here is the inside of the box, lots of fun confetti!

And last but not least all my AWESOME stuff!

I got a cute little round box decoupaged box with buttons inside (one that looks like Carmen Sandiego with red hair, one with pretty autumn colored flowers and one with pretty purple floral design), a little wristlet/clutch, a crafty idea note pad, and a beautiful handmade card.

I love everything I received and had so much fun with the swap.  I can't wait for my next swap...now which one to choose?

BTW, the Jones Soda candy is fruity, fizzy, and fun and you can get it in the check out lanes at Target.

Ransom received my package on Friday.  Here's a picture of (most of) what I sent:

I sent an accordian book, a box with some marble magnets, six handmade notecards with matching envelopes, some Jones Soda Candy, and a peyote stitch bracelet.  Not pictured, I included some small sheets of paper that I marbled as well as a beaded snowflake (matches the bracelet) and some paper flowers I punched.  Hopefully she enjoys everything as much as I enjoyed making it!  I received yesterday, so I just need to work on posting pics of my package (which was awesome!).
