Yeah, it amazes me sometimes just how much guys seem to struggle with the whole gift buying thing. I guess it's in our genes, or something?
I'm glad he showed up with some beautiful flowers though, does that mean he's made up for it yet ^_~

great idea! Happy birthday (belated?) by the way. And yes, thought should (at least in the case of husbands) definately be followed up with action. Mine learned that the hard way as well. lol. What did your hubby say about it?

I'm so glad you've made it over to the Craftster Side.  Grin

*chuckles* You're right evil, you are  Wink
And thanks! They're fun to make, though they make me sleepy lol. At least when I make a lot of them at a time.
2796  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: various things I've finished on: August 13, 2006 07:15:14 PM
*chuckles* Yeah, I suppose we all do. I just seem to do it a lot when forced to pose with my own creations  Wink

Thanks, I'm happy with them ^_^. Wish I could do more! And that I had a digital camera, because I've got more to show off since I made these lol

Oh, start on the fingerless ones, they're so fast to knit! I knit those puppies up in about a week. Mind you, that's 3 sets worth!

Too cute! Keep it as is, it totally works ^_^. By the way, congrats on the upcoming nuptials ^_~

Thanks ^_^. Well, yeah, kind of I suppose. Like I said, this isn't anything that's recent. But I spend most of my time knitting, and then Prayer Shawls.
The bag I made without a pattern with thrifted wool. It was my first time felting, too, so I'm pleased with it. Still need to find a way of closing the flap though, right now it's still without a button or anything

Though not recently. But, since I'm new here, I figured I might as well show them off ^_^.

I made this set as a gift for my MIL last year. She loved it. So did my niece. So much so she requested a set of her own in reverse colors. I'm currently working on that as one of my many WIPs.

Here's me being dorky whilst showing off my hat and fingerless gloves. The hat's hard to see since it's in black, but the pattern's my own.

This is one of two baby blankets I've knit

And here's the other one

I knitted and felted myself a bag to hold my WIPs in when I want to KIP (don't you love all the abreviations!)

Here are some scarves I made, as well

Aside from the above, I knit a lot of Prayer Shawls. Those are actually the things I work on the most.

I figured out (with help from a friend) how to post pics, so on we go!

I made a set of these potholders

I've made a ton of these lavender sticks, to put in your wardrobe to make it smell nice ^_^

And these are but one set of many winecharms I've made

Also made some flowerpens...that's sort of for the home too, right?

I think that's it for now, that'd fall under this forum anyway. I'm enjoying getting to know craftster so far.
