LOL!!! I do that too! I say "I've put something on watch for you..." I'm glad you like the bears. They are fun to make!

Hi Everyone!
Here's the new bear that hubby and I finished up today.  His name is Skye, and hes a  14 bear made of slate blue mohair.   He has glass hand painted bright blue eyes, needle felted facial features, and is hand shaded and scissor sculpted.

I really like how he turned out, and I love his fur.

Hugs,
Erin

Thanks everyone!
I start them at $9.99 on ebay and see what happens (I've never had one actually sell for $9.99, but hey it could happen! lol). I have one ending in a few hours, and I have a new one coming up in a few hours - hubby is painting the tag for it now.
19  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Reccommend me a sewing machine! on: August 12, 2006 06:56:35 AM
If your budget is tight, I recommend a Brother. They have improved greatly over the years.  In fact, they make the "inside parts" of most other brands of machines (not Singer).

I use a $80 Wally World Brother Machine that I got for sewing all of my mohair (since I do so much I didn't want an expensive machine in case it gets all full of fur and gives out quicker than if I was sewing fabric), and I figured it would suck, but it's fabulous! (knock on wood).

Janomes are fantastic as well, but more expensive.
