Last Christmas my DH bought me some Lion Brand Jiffy and told me he wanted a blanket, it took me forever to finish but here it is

And my DS wanted a blanket too, his only took me a couple weeks

A few hats I made to donate to the school

My kids keep fighting over who's gonna get the bumble bee hat

A few potholders I made for Christmas presents

And a few coasters and a bag holder WIP

That stitch looks so kool. My mom's husband just came to America from Quana and she was telling me that he's going to need a blanket or something to cuddle up with in the cold weather to come. I haven't decided if I am going to do a blanket or a manly poncho.

I don't know if it's because you are using chunky or not.....Maybe try starting with less like 12 instead of 16 and go from there, maybe the hook is too small try a bigger one....Just some ideas, I used to do single crochet hats all the time and had to make sure I marked the begining sc in every round or mine went all wonky, now I only make dc hats.

I will be joining in on this (I hope it's ok if I use diff patterns no printer and no time to sit in front of computer to crochet) I just bought a bunch of cotton yarn the other day I was going to make coasters for christmas got 2 sets done and decided my family prob wouldnt use them......

I made a poncho an lost a stitch marker didn't notice till I was done that the back point was crooked.
