Last Christmas my DH bought me some Lion Brand Jiffy and told me he wanted a blanket, it took me forever to finish but here it is

And my DS wanted a blanket too, his only took me a couple weeks

A few hats I made to donate to the school

My kids keep fighting over who's gonna get the bumble bee hat

A few potholders I made for Christmas presents

And a few coasters and a bag holder WIP

I had to jump in on the bandwagon and make a star blanket too, it's not very big.

This one is just a square with a hole in it for the carseat buckle

This is a purse my 17 yr old niece requested just have to figure out what kind of strap to put on it

Last weekend I started cutting a bunch of jeans up for a rag quilt it's 7, 8 in squares across by 9 rows what ever anyways tonight when I got home from work I decided I felt like sewing a couple rows and the next thing I knew it was 12pm and all 9 rows are done. Now to just add a few little items and I can finish sewing it together and post my very first quilt ever made.

Please excuse the mess,  the paper is so I remember what row is which. I have to iron it and sew the long rows together and sew the patches on still.

Here is a poncho I made for my 4 yr old daughter, I was going to make a matching hat but didn't like it so she ended up with a little head warmer.

 Here is a pic of the shawl I made with the same pattern using single crochet. It ended up being for my 10 yr old daughter an she loves it.

Here is a Scarf and Hat pattern I made for my daughter last winter found it in a book called my first projects. I hope it is ok to post patterns from a book on here.

Scarf: Ch. 20
Row:1 (right side) Sc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 1, skip next ch, sc in next ch; rep from * across; turn----19 sts.
Row:2 Ch 1, Sc in first sc,* ch 1 skip space, sc in next sc; rep from * across; turn
Rep row 2 for pattern until 56" from beg. fasten off.
Edging: Attach in any corner, Ch 1, *(sc, Ch 1, sc) all in corner, ch 1, work (sc,ch 1) evenly across next side: rep from * around; jion with sl st to first sc. fasten off.

Hat: Ch 74(82). Work in pat same as Scarf over 73(81) sts until 9" from beg.
Shape Top-Next Row: Ch 1, *draw up a lp in next sc, skip sp, draw up a lp in next sc, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook, skip next sp; rep from* to last sc; sc in last sc: turn -----19(21) sts
Next Row:Ch 1, sc in first sc,* skip next sp, sc in next sc; rep from* across turn.
Next Row:Ch 1, sc in first sc, * skip next sp, sc in next sc; rep from * across; turn-----10(11) sc
Next Row:ch 1[ draw up a lp in next 2 sc, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook] 5 times, (sc in last sc) 0(1) time-----5(6) sts.
Fasten off leaving a long end for sewing.

Weave yarn end through top lps of last sts, pull up tightly to gather, stitch to secure.Sew back seam,reversing seam for brim.
