Here's the smurf costume I made my son for Halloween this year.  It's pretty cold here already, so I made it all in fleece. I modified McCall's M4964 for the pants and hat, and used New Look 6800 (OOP pattern) as is for the top. He had a lot of fun skipping around collecting candy.

Yes, my cats are very...um...helpful l. 

I started this top a long time ago, but life, moving, and cats (don't ask) kinda got in the way. Now (about a year later) I've finally decided to dig it out of the closet and finish it. I am so happy to have it done just in time for the warm spring weather. Yay! Here's some pics.

The pattern for the bag was my own. I just looked at a lot of pictures in my son's books to try and get it to look as close to the original as possible.

My son was Diego this year for Halloween, but all the rescue packs that are sold in stores are cheaply made. So, I made one myself...
