OK, here is my July OoP stuff:

DS's DA shirt:

Front

Back

And my radish earings:

I actually made 5 pairs of these, so all my friend could have a pair to wear to the movie as well.  (Sorry about the blurry pic, my camera hates jewelry.)

12  Koi T-shirt in Stenciling: Completed Projects by psmommy on: July 16, 2007 06:47:33 AM
I made this t-shirt for my partner in the pond friends swap, as she really likes koi.  I used the good ole freezer paper method for the stencil.

Whole view of shirt.

Close up of fish.

Thanks for looking.  Smiley

13  Gold fish bag in Crochet: Completed Projects by psmommy on: July 16, 2007 06:39:52 AM
I made this bag for my swap partner in the pond friends swap, as she really likes fish.

Outside of bag. The black is sugar n cream in black, and the orange is peaches n cream in white that I hand dyed using RIT sunshine orange.

Inside of bag.

I modified the old bag lady's fish bag pattern from crochetville.org to look like a goldfish and fit the cotton yarn.

Well, my son gave me a nice birthday present yesterday, and took a 3-1/2 hour nap!  Shocked  Giving me plenty of time to do this:

My first cup!  Yay!  The color is actually a brighter orange than this.  The picture's just washed out from the sunlight.  Undecided

Woo Hoo!  Looks like I get to be the first one to post pix!!  I received my package from Fishie yesterday and I love it!!

Here's everything all together:

She included goodies not only for me, but also for my son.  He was very excited about that!   Cheesy

Close up of the cute foam magnets that now inhabit my fridge!

Close up of lilypad pot holder. So Cute!

Close up of pretty pond decorated frame with sweet pic of frog sleeping in a lilly.  Aaaw.  Cheesy

The best close up I could get of what I think is my favorite item in the package - beaded dragonfly stitch markers.  These are great!  The picture really does not do them justice. They came right in time too, as I have three sweaters on needles right now!  Shocked Cheesy

And last, but not least a picture of DS concentrating really hard at putting all his little frog toppers back in their package after dumping them out, and before dumping them out again.   Cheesy  He loves them!! Thank you.

This was such a great first swap for me.  We loved everything! Fishie you are a great swap partner, and I hope you like your package just as much!

16  Re: Big Project Stitchalong 2007 in Needlework: Stitchalongs by psmommy on: July 04, 2007 08:29:05 PM
Hi!  I know it's kind of late in the year, but I would like to join this too, if I could.

I bought the pattern pictured below and all of the supplies to make it last summer hoping to finish it in time to give my sister for Christmas last year.  Unfortunately, it never got started.  Tongue  I would like to get a move on this in hopes of giving it to her this year.  All the project pics I've seen posted in this thread have been inspiring to me, and I think I will work faster if I have to post progress pics also.  Cheesy

Here is a picture of the pattern:

17  Poop stained onsies no more! in Dyeing: Completed Projects by psmommy on: July 02, 2007 11:23:28 AM
I had a big batch of black dye made up to hand dye some yarn for a swap, so I decided to make good use of it and pulled out the old stained onsies that have been sitting in my son's dresser for months!  Here's what I came up with:

Group shot

Flamin' Hearts

The Ring

Walk the line

Cheesy  I haven't tie-dyed since high school!  This was pretty fun!
What do you think?

OK. It's not exactly June anymore, but I've finished my house pride project.

Here it is:

I was quite proud of this till my cat walked on it while still wet, and smudged red paint above the KI in king.  Angry  I put a blob of gold over it and in some other places to help "camouflage", but I can still see it.   Undecided   Aah, I'll probably wear it anyway.  Cheesy

19  Re: Knifty Knitter Socks / Booties Knitalong in Knitalongs by psmommy on: June 15, 2007 10:13:49 AM
Aura_reincarnation - I love your socks!!  They are so colorfull!!

After reading through this thread again, I realized I never posted the pic of my finished booties.  Undecided

So, here they are in all their glory:

The color's a little off due to the serious lack of light in my apartment (they're a deep purple not black), but you get the idea.  Cheesy

20  Purple Stretchy Flower Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by psmommy on: May 29, 2007 06:12:44 AM
Here is the purse I made for my cousin's gradutation.  I used Simplicity pattern 4178 (I think). It is purse B with C's handle.

Front of bag.  It's a little hard to tell from the pix, but the outside of the bag is actually a purple stretch knit with a black denim overwash.  It looks really neat next to the flowers.

Inside of bag.  No pockets. Just a magnetic snap.

What do you think?
