1  The Princess and the Pea in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Mosquito on: June 25, 2008 10:47:03 AM
I'm trying to illustrate the Princess and the Pea, just for fun. But I've gotten a little bogged down. Here's the prince near the beginning with one of the 'not real' princesses. It's pen and ink and watercolor. Any advice or anything would be great.

Thanks for looking!

I've never posted on this board before, but I figured I'd better start!
Two watercolors, they're about 4 by 6...postcard size.

6  Wrist warmers, branching out, and an interestingly constructed ipod cozy. in Knitting: Completed Projects by Mosquito on: June 19, 2007 03:54:01 PM

A wrist warmer (there really are two, honestly.) I used a basic pattern I found somewhere and made up the fair isle pattern.

I haven't blocked it yet, I might not. I like it this way.

And the ipod cozy! Can you guess where I cast on?

And closed.

Comments and criticism welcome and appreciated!

7  Opening Dress. Brown and Pinkish. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Mosquito on: November 21, 2006 07:19:32 PM
I have my first art show opening in December so naturally I needed a new dress!
The fabrics were both on clearance. I think they match pretty well considering. Cheesy

You can tell I'm pleased since I'm smiling while out in below freezing temperatures with wet hair. Wink

8  Re: Anthropologie-inspired capelet- By julsey723 in Knitalongs by Mosquito on: October 18, 2006 08:16:42 PM
Here's mine.

The yarn is actually sort of shiny, it doesn't really show in the picture.
I didn't mean the neck to be so big, it just kind of came out that way. I guess I'm a bad gauger. Tongue (if that's the word Huh)

10  My first post, a shirt. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Mosquito on: September 07, 2006 04:15:17 PM
This my first real post, hooray! I have been lurking for ages and by now I look on Craftster as my second home  Wink.
This is a shirt I made yesterday. I'm quite pleased with the sleeves.
The fabric is really see through so it's more of an overshirt thing. You can't be picky with remnants.   Undecided

This is the closest to the actual color.

I hope the pictures work. Please comment!
