1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Lord of the Rings Swap? on: September 21, 2007 10:53:41 AM

2  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Slip Protection on: August 25, 2007 08:32:18 PM
I love wearing heels, but I am always petrified that I am going to slip and break my neck, especially when walking on hardwood, or freshly waxed linolium floors.  Embarrassed
I've seen sandpaper adhesives in stores and have tried them, but a friend told me that they can scratch floors and are still not totally slip proof.
Do any of you improvise? I was thinking about adding textured rubber pads? Have no idea where I'd get that stuff, but I would be interested in hearing what you think.

thanks!
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Making a small shirt bigger? on: August 25, 2007 11:19:46 AM
Just wondering how you folks do it? The shirt I am making is a cotton knit, but it's a tad too tight.. other than starting over, are there any ways to add a little extra room? Perhaps side paneling?
I dunno.

Thanks!
