3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Nona the Dragon on: October 01, 2007 07:07:56 AM
I got a small drawing and was asked to make it into a soft toy. This one wasn't easy but I'm happy with the result. The owner is also very happy with it:)

I had to make the wings three times till I figured out what worked best. I used stuff that they use for quilts to, not sure what the name is. Silly me made forgot to make the wings in mirror, so had to do one again! Oh well I learned from it;)

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / A plush version of a Pioneer cdj1000mk3. on: August 07, 2007 03:53:56 AM
Well I didn't know what it was at first, but it turned out to be a cd player/ mix deck for dj's. My friend requested it as a gift for a friend. I've added a photo of the original to.
This thing was so much work! Three whole days it took me to make.
But she was really happy and that made it all worth it:)
I used foam as stuffing to keep a square shape.
The whole thing is made from felt.

Last week I bought a blythe on ebay. They are so cute, couldn't help myself.
The first thing I did is making her a new outfit. I didn't like the one she had on very much.
I didn't think it would be so much fun to make a doll dress!
Here she is in here new green dress:

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Poloko - Crazy chick on: January 21, 2007 10:35:10 AM
Last weekend I made this crazy chick. His name his Poloko.
I made him from fleece and felt. It took me several chicks to get the shape that I wanted, from the side he is more rounder on the bottom.

I've started to name the plushes Fluffels, that's why he has a little label. Fluffels sounds a lot like Knuffels, Knuffels is the dutch word for Soft toys. I thought it sounded kinda cute.
