1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Sharpies+Glaze Gloss=SHMEAR! on: March 06, 2007 02:00:05 PM
So I'm kinda new at the whole polymer clay thing and I've been pretty much experimenting. I've been decorating my baked creations with thin sharpie markers since my hand isn't so good at making fine details with a paint brush. After using the sharpies I've been painting the clay with this stuff called glaze gloss.. but there's only one problem.  Undecided It completely shmears the sharpie ink! Is there a solution to this or a better technique I could use (without breaking out the paint brush!). I really do like the effect of the glaze gloss but could definitely do without the shmears. Help!  Shocked
