1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Re: Sharpies+Glaze Gloss=SHMEAR! on: March 08, 2007 04:34:10 PM
Thanks for the help guys! I see that prisma markers are supposed to be good on polymer clay so I think I'll pick up a few of those and see how they work out. I'm probably also gonna try some of that spray glaze.. sounds a lot easier than the paint-on stuff!
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Sharpies+Glaze Gloss=SHMEAR! on: March 06, 2007 02:00:05 PM
So I'm kinda new at the whole polymer clay thing and I've been pretty much experimenting. I've been decorating my baked creations with thin sharpie markers since my hand isn't so good at making fine details with a paint brush. After using the sharpies I've been painting the clay with this stuff called glaze gloss.. but there's only one problem.  Undecided It completely shmears the sharpie ink! Is there a solution to this or a better technique I could use (without breaking out the paint brush!). I really do like the effect of the glaze gloss but could definitely do without the shmears. Help!  Shocked

I almost peed myself when I saw WoW on here! haha

I thought I was the only weirdo who liked WoW... I'm not alone in my addiction.

Nope, there's a lot of WOW nerds here.  Grin
I'm kind of surprised there aren't more Warcraft-type crafts posted here, since when you get this many computer literates together, at least half of them are bound to play it.
I'm debating whether or not this Felt Night-Elf stuffie I just finished is good enough to post...

*dies* I'm ELATED to see there are fellow WoW fiends here!!  Shocked Grin PLEASE post your NE plushie. I'm dying to see it! It would be great to see some more WoW related crafts on here.  Cool
