my newest one... it faded a bit so i went back yesterday to get it fixed.

the pictures a bit rubbish and it looks red still.

it tooks 8 pairs of jeans.
my machine is actually a cheap and cheerful sort of thing. not that great but it coped well with just the denim. to put the backing on i used my mum's industrial one. i'm sure mine wouldn't have stood up to that. in places it was 2 layers of denim and 3 of backing. i'm pretty sure mine would have just melted into a plasticy mess from the stress of it all!
oh yeah and it'll be a normal double bed that it goes on.

my friends are getting married on friday. woo etc! i made them a blanket/throw out of some old jeans. some of them were given to me by them and some are mine. i backed it with bonded interlining. they are never gonna be cold ever again! i hope they like it... it's taken me about 4 evenings and the backing was a huge pain in the backside!


oh yeah i took the photo on my mum's bed which is queen size!! (greedy lol) so it'll fit on their bed much better

oo i'm really slow at this! i'd forgotten to do a tutorial and get a pic of the other bag!! will do a bit of an update later! btw my tute will be a bit rubbishly drawn.. i've never done one before

hehe i love the look on her face. i lived in a horrible pokey basement flat where the only outside space was covered over with mesh. so she liked to climb the ladder and look at people walking by. not really edited it apart from a bit of cropping

what i got today... a little dinosaur from one of my own drawings... hmmm i think he needs some colour though
