I'm glad you liked everything - and YES, I do have LOTS of jewlery bits. It was fun trying to incorporate my charm stash in different ways (you should see how many more birds and flowers and butterflies I still have...)

I sadly don't have many pictures of what I sent - only the three crafts and not the extras, and what I do have are iPhone pictures. Hopefully my lovely partner will have some once the computer issues are completely settled!

Whew! Family times are finally over (ah the holidays!) and I have a break from work so time to post my goodies!

Stillatthetop sent me a fantastic package!

First, a great wall hanging for my craft wall - purple is my favorite color and the C is made out of buttons!

Detail:

Next, this adorable - er, sorry, terrifying! - zombie stuffie!

I was also gifted a snail! But not just any snail, he is a super talented snail who will guard my tea and keep the tail of the bag from slipping into my drink.

I also got extras!

Loooove these earrings!

Thank you so much stillatthetop!!

3  Burnt Snowflake Ornaments in Winter Holidays by ceemonster on: December 12, 2014 04:58:11 PM
Sounds impossible, no?

I've seen these little babies all over the internet, so I decided to bang out a dozen woodburnt snowflake ornaments for quick gifts to the extended family. Designs were drawn on 3inch wood slabs after a hole was drilled in the top then I used my woodburning tool on it. Quick and easy - and will be finished off with some sealer and gold ribbon probably later this week.

4  Rustic Snowmen in Needlework: Completed Projects by ceemonster on: December 12, 2014 04:51:15 PM
Decided to bang this out for my mother.

Five little rustic snowpeople. Buttons for the snowfamily with details done in embroidery thread (including the very bad french knots for buttons and eyes - I really need to work on those). Background is burlap straight from a coffee sack and measures 5x7. It's not perfect but I like it's character.

Late posting my pictures (due to Mom's hand surgery) but here is my wonderful package from jennythor!

First, an adorable pair of shrinky earrings.

A butterfly (one of my favorite things) tea cup pin cushion.

A Tea-Rex embroidery for my wall.

The teas! The chili chocolate chai is her own blend!!

Haul together!

Thanks so much! I love everything!

7  Merry T-ReXmas in Winter Holidays by ceemonster on: December 29, 2013 09:02:40 PM
There is an inside joke with my siblings about my having "T-Rex arms" so, of course, for Christmas, I just had to make my brother and sister T-Rex tree ornaments.

Dollar Store toy, spray painted silver. The scarf is ribbon and both the bells and the little candy cane were in my stash from previous projects. Very low cost for a great amount of laughter while decorating.

9  Re: We want to see!!!! Completed Projects Links! in REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING by ceemonster on: June 20, 2013 05:53:04 PM
Finally got my hands on the guitar pick punch I bought my brother for Christmas (along with a glass scorer - MAN APPROVED CRAFTS! Tongue) and took it to some of the old gift cards I have been hoarding.

Edges need to be filed somewhat and I'm thinking about sealing them with varnish or modpodge or something but very pleased with the results. Next attempt will be on an old vinyl record.

10  Back on the Chain(Maille) Gang in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by ceemonster on: June 07, 2013 12:51:32 PM
Hi all.

Been a long while since I did anything chain related so I figured I'd start myself out small and slow on this rainy afternoon.

Mobius flowers fit the bill!
(Sorry for the crap quality; only have access to the mobile's camera right now!)

The red ones are made with 3 colored rings (and yes, are dented and scratched but that's because I am doing an experiment with ToolMagic to see how it works in comparison).
Pink ones have 5 colored rings.
Silver ones have 6 rings in the flowers.

I'm also working on a bracelet with smaller, silver ones now. Cheesy
