2  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Billy/Jigsaw puppet prop. on: September 03, 2009 07:28:21 PM
Well, mine isn't technically a puppet, since it has no moving parts, but I can always try again next year.  Grin  He's made out of some wood glue and toilet paper, with a generous layer of plaster on top.  He's a full head, not just the face... he needs more hair... and he'll be getting the rest of his body, plus his trike, in the next few weeks. Cheesy

His head is almost lifesized, I meant to make him more child head sized.  Oops.

Yes, both Buc-ee and I love him, very much so.  Wink

Awesome job.  Which haunt do you work at..?  I might hafta steal you!  D:  None of our actors ever want to show up til, at the most, an hour before showtime so it's hard for us to ever get any really nice makeup done.  Maybe we're just too slow, eh?  Wink

Thanks!  Here's hoping I get better, instead of moving downhill.  Wink

Yay, I made a necklace today!  I need some better lighting so I can take better pics.  =\  Oh well.

Okay, I cheated and used a scanner for this shot:

Does it look okay for a first attempt?  =D

Aww, was your little wobbler an albino?  I think those are the ones that usually wave back and forth like that.  Something to do with focusing their eyes.

I miss most of mine, too.  We had 23 at one point [the result of one (huge) accidental litter, and too much compassionate rescuing].  Now we're down to one lonely little old lady (she's 3!), with no plans to get any more until we have more room for them.    Embarrassed

No problem.  I love rats more than almost anything. <3
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: My first beading project... on: December 18, 2006 03:52:56 PM
Those are gorgeous for a first beading attempt!  I'm jealous, so far I stink at beading.  Wink

They do look very wintery.  Perfect for Christmas!  (and also perfect for me to try to make for myself sometime, as my husband likes to call me an ice queen hahaha)   Grin
