I went to donate some things at the thrift store the other day, and of course had to take a look around.
I ended up finding a book of fabric samples from a home decor place, and about half of them are right up my partner's alley! I'm excited to have a whole book of swatches to use for small projects and linings if I need.
That is AWESOME!! I can't wait to see what happens.
Our family keeps Christmas simple for the most part. My husband and I only get three gifts for each kid, and they tend not to be medium to small. They have a ton of grandparents, so there is no shortage of toys. I actually still have a handful of toys each of them were given last year and still haven't touched. Luckily. my in laws and mom are both on a really tight budget, so they reign it in. My dad goes a bit nuts, but he lives far away are rarely sees the kids, so I don't make a thing about it.
This year is a first. My in-laws, mom, Eric and I are all buying second hand or handmade gifts only. We have all had decent luck at garage sales this year, so I am pretty excited to see what everyone else discovered.
Oh, and I did get some new supplies today. I might need to go shopping one more time, but I have a few projects I want to start on now. To the crafting room!
