I actually have some stuff that could work for earrings.  Great idea!
If you or anyone else has more ideas I would gladly consider them.
Thanks!!!

I noticed your post and wanted to ask for craft suggestions for teens.  Since you are a crafty teen, I thought you would be the perfect person to talk to.  I considered doing duck tape wallets.?  I would appreciate any cool ideas you might have. We would only have about an hour to complete.
Hope you find some craftsters near you.  Smiley
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Tropical Wedding on: February 06, 2005 03:32:21 PM
Some friends of mine are getting married in June and are having a "tropical" wedding.  Any ideas on how to decorate?  The Wedding will be outside, but the reception will be held in a huge conference type room.
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: What type of fabric is in this picture? on: August 25, 2004 02:51:13 PM
Isn't that what t-shirts are made of?  If you can't find the fabric, maybe you could just use a t.
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Paper glued to the walls? on: July 19, 2004 03:53:38 PM
Doublesided tape is a good idea, however if you are going to glue them you should probably use wallpaper paste and not regular glue.  It may be a pain to get the paper off the wall and then you have to wash all the wallpaper paste off or it will bleed thru the new paint.  If you get wallpaper samples they should already have glue on the back, just wet them, let them sit for a minute and stick to the wall.
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Re: Decorations for a Vegas Baby Vegas Shower on: July 19, 2004 07:58:34 AM
You could decorate with playing cards and dice. Lay them around on the food table - like people do with confetti.  Also, you could make your invitations out of playing cards by glueing paper to one side and writing the where, when and what on it.
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: writer's block--what about crafter's block?! on: July 18, 2004 12:00:53 PM
When I get into a crafter's slump, I go to thrift and/or hardware stores.  I look around at everyday things and try to envision them as something entirely different.  I usually come away with a really cool idea.
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Junie B. Jones on: July 18, 2004 11:45:08 AM
I work at the Library and we are planning a Junie B. Jones Day (has anyone read these children's books?).  I am looking for some sort of craft to do that relates to the books. Approximate ages would be 6-10.  Thanks in advance for any ideas!
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Spray on Metal ?? on: June 24, 2004 10:56:11 AM
I was just wondering if there was such a thing as magnetic paint myself.  I am trying to make a magnetic scrabble board.  If i paint the back of the scrabble board do you think the magnets would stick to the front?  Thanks for any info!
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Help! doll house stuff...what to do with it? on: June 01, 2004 07:21:02 AM
ooohhh! What a great idea! i was thinking of making a bulletin board for my kitchen and the pots and pans would be really cute as push pins or even glued around the frame.
