I figured out the photo malfunction, horay! Now on to my craftiness..
This embroidery was cut out of a ridiculously over done t-shirt. I meticulously pinned and sewed it on to my favorite pink hoodie and viola!! It certainly catches an eye or two. 

I can't wait for fall weather...

here it is... my little black satin vest that I'm wearing out for my 21st birthday this saturday. The pattern couldn't have been easier to improvise and it didn't take long at all. I couldn't be happier to wear it out for a night on the town. (The fabric backing is from an old dress and it's lined with red velvet!)

Does anyone know a good way to make a skirt from fabric that has a pattern at the bottom? The only patterns I can find involve cutting up the fabric into sections which would ruin the pattern. any ideas or suggestions?

soooo.... this used to be a ridiculous heavily embroidered t-shirt.. I decided to even it out a little bit by carefully pinning it and sewing it on to my favorite pink hoodie! I think it turned out quite nicely. It definately causes a few double takes

I cooked up this little number to top off my outstanding outfit for my 21st birthday (outfit not shown.) The black part is satin, and the backing is cut out from a 60's style dress. It even has fancy red lining. This took very little time to make and was incredibly simple.
