1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Robo-tastic SPARE TIRE COVER. woo on: March 18, 2007 10:01:00 PM
Last weekend I got my first car. WOOPEE!
And ever since i have been trying to figure out how to make it a little cooler, since the car has some minor asthetic problems......
It came w/ an ugly spare tire cover that said "TRACKER" in an ugly font....and i just knew i wouldnt use it...so.....
I took 2 old vinyl tablecloths and some inspiration from stencilry.org and made this. It's not stenciled, it's appliqued on there(i think that's the correct terminology.

Im really proud of myself.:]
thankyou for reading my LONG rambly post....hehe

Now....because people requested a turorial for the last hoody that i posted, and this one is very similar.....heres a tutorial....I sure hope it makes sense and is legible...let me know if you need help reading something. :]

Thankyou for reading. :]
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / at a lost....what to do with this fabric.. on: September 12, 2006 10:12:42 PM
I found about 3 yards of this fabric at a thrift store the other day. I thought it was so pretty and it is so very soft.....quite obviously a good quality fabric. It's a stretchy knit.....anyways..I got it home....and i really want to use it for something....I just cannot decide what it would look best as....

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / No, it's not a top....it's a super cute purse!! on: June 09, 2006 01:09:40 PM
I made this out of some fabric that i had lying around...i think it's really cute...plus, if i ever need a shirt, i can take the bottom off and voila!.....cute top...:]]]

it's lined w/ purple fabric about the color of the little hearts on the outside, also, I put a cell phone pocket insite that is the stripey fabric like the top.

what do you guys think??
6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Purple Stripey and hearty goodness...plus a cute kid :] on: June 09, 2006 01:04:10 PM
Yeah, so this is the first post i've made on here in awhile(even though i have alot i need to post)....and well...I made this dress for the cutest little girl that I know...my baby sister(shes 2)..Cheesy

THis is emily and her new purple dress::

It is made of some fabric that I found at a thrift store.....the top is polyester stretchy stuff and the rest is simply cotton. It is hand sewn, but i went over some of the seams that I felt would get the most use with my machine.
I think that it turned out really cute.Smiley

What do you guys think?!
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / My take on a Bottle Cap Necklace on: August 20, 2005 09:36:34 PM
Well, I recently saw a few min. of Confessions of a Teenage Drama queen, and fell in love with that necklace that lindsay wore, so tonight I made the best one I could given my utter lack of supplies...Cheesy
I realy think that it looks nice, I will post a tut if you REALLY want one, but i prolly wont be able to take pictures because I doubt that, due to quite a long construction time, I will make another one. But anyways, I used colorfull hairbands, broken bottlecap buttons I made a while back, chains and little stars from a broken earring, and sacrificed a neckace for the "necklace" part, oh and lots of hot glue and felt on the backs of the caps once all of the chains and whatnot were glues in.....So, how did I do?
8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Crafty Shirts on: July 18, 2005 09:24:28 PM
I am not really happy about the placement of "glue-gun", but i still like it
I made these the other day and i really like them....Cheesy
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Shroom Bag on: March 28, 2005 07:19:48 PM
I made this bag the other day, the mushrooms are felt stitched on with embroidery thread. The bag itself is  like the messenger bag w/ gusset tut. The strap is a scarf ( I think) that I found at a thrift store that I thought was just so cool, and had to get it, even if I never used it for anything.....Anyways, I hope you like it...I do...Cheesy
10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / I've been USED on: March 08, 2005 02:59:54 PM
I made this shirt the other night. The letters are stenciled, and the other stuffage is hand done...Cheesy...
