great idea! i have a dozen or more cross stitches that aren't displayed because i'm too cheap and lazy to have them framed.

It's so funny that I clicked on this today. Just yesterday, I bought a kitty scratcher with toy in the 1/2 off Christmas section. Got home and discovered it's just cardboard. I have plenty of cardboard already..lol.

4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do you do with your leftover floss? on: May 25, 2009 09:53:13 AM
sometimes i think about putting them out for the birds to use for building nests but, more often than not, any little bits of floss go on the floor then up the vacuum..lol.
5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: price of dmc floss went up again! on: May 25, 2009 09:48:42 AM
just ran into acmoore, grabbed the color i needed and didn't pay attention to price. got home, read this forum, found my receipt.....16!!!! just checked their ad online: through today only floss is 6/$1.

funny floss story....saturday, i asked my son to pick up a skein while he was at the mall. i wrote down 3371 and showed him that it was dark brown. the boy came back with 371/green. haven't quite figured out what he was thinking.

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do YOU do while stitching? on: September 23, 2008 06:34:33 AM
TV here, too, though it's hard to watch coz I have to wear magnifying glasses for the stitching. When I'm really in a stitching mood, I take it to work to do during lunch(so rude people can touch it with their unwashed hands).
