1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Doctor Who messengers on: May 27, 2011 09:18:31 PM
So I recently became a fan of Doctor Who and needed to make stuff!  So I made these 2 bags.

The pocket isn't crooked.. just a weird angle

I used 2 button up shirts for each purse.  I'm actually really pleased with how the shirt fabric works for making bags.

What do you think?
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / I've been busy *image obese* on: August 27, 2008 03:00:57 AM

This is the purse that started my recent activity.

Yay zippered pockets.

Then someone mentioned making a school bag.  So I made an oversized tote bag that'll fit loooots of supplies.

I love zippered pockets.

Yay pencils.

2 binders and a spiral notebook.  Plenty of room for more.

Phone pocket!

I am now on a grocery bag kick.

It can fit a bunch of boxes.

Without being too bulky.

This is my latest bag.

It came out better than I thought it would.

These were all made between the 21st and the 26th.  I've been bored while looking for a job and waiting for school to start.

3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Stuffed animals for X-mas on: November 25, 2006 05:40:05 PM
So I'm thinking about making some stuffed animals for friends for Christmas, but I'm not too sure about how to start off.  I'd like to make a turtle, a cat, a bunny, and a mermaid.  I want them to be round and fat (yes, even the mermaid!) so the main shape would be a circle.  Does anyone have any ideas about how I would go about making these?
