1  Doctor Who messengers in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by jymberry on: May 27, 2011 09:18:31 PM
So I recently became a fan of Doctor Who and needed to make stuff!  So I made these 2 bags.

The pocket isn't crooked.. just a weird angle

I used 2 button up shirts for each purse.  I'm actually really pleased with how the shirt fabric works for making bags.

What do you think?

I made two more last night!

My cherry tote and Batman grocery bag were both hits so I decided to make a hybrid of the two.

I love this picture.. looks like Batman is trying to bust out of the pocket

This one has a side pocket big enough for a soda bottle (Yes that's a spray paint can.. I don't have any soda bottles in the house)

A spot for pens and pencils

And a cell phone/ipod pocket.

And then I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to make another bag.  This one is from an old shirt.

It has one medium sized zipper pocket

And alternating colors

This is the purse that started my recent activity.

Yay zippered pockets.

Then someone mentioned making a school bag.  So I made an oversized tote bag that'll fit loooots of supplies.

I love zippered pockets.

Yay pencils.

2 binders and a spiral notebook.  Plenty of room for more.

Phone pocket!

I am now on a grocery bag kick.

It can fit a bunch of boxes.

Without being too bulky.

This is my latest bag.

It came out better than I thought it would.

These were all made between the 21st and the 26th.  I've been bored while looking for a job and waiting for school to start.
