I just received from Stepharella-

We r headed out of town so I wanted to post pix quickly- unfortunately a few things broke in transit but I think I can glue them.  Undecided

First off
J- It's a leather covered journal - very cute!

E and I (not sure how they are the letters  Smiley but they are chocolate candies. I don't eat chocolate, but I think my hubby would like them.)

E, F and R- elephant (his ear broke off  Undecided will fix it!), Flower- I think it's clay so it should glue fine, Rock with 'love' stamped on it.

N, N and M

Necklace - very cool with a flower that looks etched on the metal, the other N is a music note out of clay- neat!, and lastly M is a monogram of patterned paper on a canvas- I like the burlap behind the letter- gives a rustic look.

Thanks, Stepharella!

3  ABC display cases in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by onecrazymom on: April 13, 2013 11:13:30 AM
I made this for my newborn nephew for Christmas. I took a display case- added a few extra slots, painted it and added the frame. I searched for little trinkets for each letter, and I LOVE how it turned out!  Now I wish my kids were little again so I can make more!

4  Re: Matchbox Swap 7 (SO 3/30) in The Swap Gallery by onecrazymom on: April 11, 2013 03:40:25 PM
Ok- I got my matchbox from plucky1_08 a bit ago, but our home has been taken over by the flu bug and I just couldn't get photos, upload, etc. Sorry!

It is a cute little box- she chose my love of the beach:

Here's the box opened

All the goodies!  I really love the ladybug stamp and shell. I collect buttons, so those will be added! And the beads will definitely be used for future jewels of some sort!

Thanks so much, plucky, and sorry for the wait!  Smiley

I received from avesthel on Friday but couldn't post pix til today. It is such a wonderful matchbox!  She painted (?) some red poppies like a miniature painting. Inside there were were loads of goodies:

Red buttons, some sequins, a pair of red beaded earrings, stamps, beads, a sewing machine charm (which I adore!!), and in the bottom of the matchbox was a tiny butterfly! So cute!  Thanks so much!

6  Altered mouse trap? (odd, I know!) in New Swap Theme Ideas by onecrazymom on: March 02, 2013 02:07:35 PM
Ok- I have suddenly been altering mousetraps....I really don't like what they are originally intended to do, so I decided to make them more likeable....  Cheesy

I would love to do a swap with these, but I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how to start one, or be in charge of one.  Would anyone be interested in this, and possible take the lead on it?

I thought they were a great subject to alter, and they are cheap- I got 4 at the dollar store in town!

Here's an image I found online- there are LOTS of ideas if you google it.  You can make them photo holders on your fridge, or just clever magnets or small artwork.  Hope I'm not the only one loving these!

Everyone is getting such wonderful puzzle pieces, and finally, yay! ~ I got my first piece back!   Cheesy  Received from kriSmith on tuesday.  I love them- a great start to my ocean themed puzzle, one has a cute little beach shack with a straw roof and little chair (where I'd much rather be then in the Memphis heat...) and the other has cute little fish stamped on the background with a beach themed clock face and both have a little rhinestone and glitter all over!- thanks, Kris!!   Can't wait to get more.

I am having the most fun looking at everyones themes.  What great ideas.... makes me hope there will be another round because I have new puzzle plans.   Grin

I received from bunny1kenobi last week but haven't been able to post pix til today.  Of course, it was very difficult to GET photos because as soon as I opened my package, my two kids started pawing through everything and taking all the cool stuff!!   Cheesy  So here are some shots of what I could get back for a brief moment...

the awesome bag of loot- she embroidered my initial on it- WOW- love it!!!  Smiley

some of the contents (sorry it's upside down- not sure what happened?!)

see the tiny boxes?? this is what was inside them!! Earrings (love!)  Teeny-tiny little animal faces- not sure what I'll do with them, but they are SOO CUTE!  tiny coins and a fabric hamburger charm- so detailed!

here are some silver charms- I make jewelry so I am very excited about these.

lastly- favorites of the bag of goodies - for some reason that photo was lost in the upload, and I need to get to work, so I am going to try to get it on this post when I get home...
love the colored pom-poms, the small rolling pin and barrel, tiny fish charms, FLIES!!!  i hate the real kind, but these are adorable (as much as a fly can be  Wink )  ladybug charms, and a great fairy charm.  I love everything- thank you sooooo very much!!  what a great swap!
